Sunday’s guided tour will depart from the Parc Hotel Alvisse. You will travel by bus to Echternach, the oldest town in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, which has retained its medieval ambience with its labyrinthine streets, remains and towers of the ancient city wall and a marketplace with a Gothic town house. After the lunch break, the visit of the Beaufort site, with its medieval castle and Renaissance palace will bring you back in time. You will also have the opportunity to taste the “cassero”, a typical local blackcurrants liqueur. On the way back to the hotel, the bus will pass by the area known as “Little Switzerland” to end the excursion on a high note.
