BACK TO THE RACE: KEYS TO GROW MEMBERSHIP
9:40-10:20 | room Diekirch-Echternach (level -1)
Kiwanis enables us to make new friendships, new relationships and to help Children of the World – that’s a great story. But the story can be even more beautiful if we share it with more people – outside of our existing circle of acquaintances. Opening up clubs to younger members, bringing in new potential members… Get some methods and tools to help you gain new members.

BACK TO THE RACE: TALKING ABOUT REJUVENATION
10:20-11:00 | room Wiltz
Do we need an acceptance committee and complicated admission procedures for new members? Explore new possibilities that will make our organization a trend-setting one, so that we can attract young members today who can perpetuate Kiwanis tomorrow.

MEET THE CANDIDATES
11:00-12:00 | room Diekirch-Echternach (level -1)

Attend the introductory presentations of the candidates to key positions in KI-E and KI, ask them questions and exchange points of view with them.

WALKING FREE LUNCH
12:00-14:00 | room Europe C OR outside around the swimming pool if the weather allows it.

HOUSE OF DELEGATES
14:00-17:00 | room Europe A

Get informed about the KI-E business and activities. KI-E President Josy Glatigny will chair the session, welcome and greet international guests. Delegates from clubs across Europe will vote on any amendments to the KI-E Bylaws; elect the organisation’s next leaders; elect the European candidate for the KI Trustee seats. The business session will end with the presentation of the venue of the 2025 European convention.

The House of Delegates on Sunday, 19 May 2024, will be streamed live online to also allow participants to follow the proceedings remotely. Voting is limited to certified delegates who will be contacted personally after being certified as a voting delegate. Watch kiwanis.eu for streaming information.

Verre de l’amitié

GALA EVENING | Moselle River Cruise (ticketed event to be booked via the registration form – places for this evening are limited, so book early!)
19:00-23:30 | Meeting point bus transfer: lobby Parc Hotel Alvisse
Embark on the “Princesse Marie-Astrid” boat and discover the lovely Moselle valley from a completely new perspective. While enjoying a fine dinner and entertainment on board, you’ll see picturesque villages, gentle hills, woods and vineyards slowly move by. If you’re into history, you might remember that an important chapter of European history was written here as it was indeed on “Princesse Marie-Astrid” that the famous Schengen agreements were signed in 1985 and 1990.
